This includes component selection, MCU/SoC selection, power tree development, analog and digital circuit design, low-power architectures, signal conditioning, protection circuits, communication interfaces, and complete schematic development. I have extensive experience designing hardware around STM32, ESP32, and other 32-bit and 8-bit microcontrollers, processors, and SoCs. My embedded hardware experience includes USB, Ethernet/PoE, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS485, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, sensor interfaces, and other digital and analog peripherals. I approach architecture and circuit design with the complete product lifecycle in mind, including component availability, power consumption, thermal performance, reliability, cost, manufacturability, and future scalability. PCB Design and Layout I specialize in mixed-signal multilayer PCB design using Altium Designer and KiCad, including high-speed PCB design, RF layouts, and flex PCB development. My layouts consider signal integrity, power integrity, controlled impedance, high-speed interfaces, RF performance, grounding, return paths, thermal management, EMI/EMC, component placement, routing constraints, flex-board bend requirements, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). I use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other laboratory equipment to troubleshoot and validate hardware. Because I understand the complete path from circuit architecture to PCB layout, I can investigate problems across the system rather than treating PCB layout as an isolated task. In addition to hardware engineering, one of my other startups is involved in electronic component supply. This allows me to support clients with component sourcing and procurement, including availability checks, alternative part selection, supply-chain considerations, and competitive pricing where possible. The objective is not simply to deliver fabrication files, but to develop hardware that can be manufactured consistently, sourced efficiently, and scaled without unnecessary redesigns.
