Cosmetic Formulation Scientist | Skincare R&D | Scale-Up Manufacturing
I don't just formulate products—I develop products that can actually be manufactured and brought to market. I am a formulation scientist, product-development specialist, and Founder/CEO of a U.S.-based cosmetics and personal care contract manufacturing company. Since founding my company in 2020, I have led the formulation, scale-up, and commercial launch of 1,000+ products and built manufacturing capabilities supporting up to 100,000 finished units per month. My background combines advanced scientific training in physics and mathematics with extensive hands-on experience in formulation science, process development, scale-up, manufacturing, and commercialization. I can assist with: • Cosmetic and personal care formulation • Skincare, haircare, and body-care product development • Reformulation and formula troubleshooting • Ingredient selection and technical evaluation • Prototype development • Stability and compatibility considerations • Process development and scale-up • Manufacturing troubleshooting • Raw material and supplier evaluation • Product commercialization and manufacturing strategy • Technical review of existing formulations • Contract manufacturing consultation My professional experience extends beyond cosmetics into OTC drug products, medical devices, cleansing systems, adhesives, sealants, and many other industries* providing a broad technical foundation for solving complex formulation and manufacturing problems. What differentiates my work is the combination of scientific rigor and real-world manufacturing experience. A formula that performs well at laboratory scale is only part of a successful product. I approach development with scale-up, processing, raw-material availability, stability, cost, quality, and commercial manufacturing in mind from the beginning. As a Founder and CEO, I have also built and managed a multidisciplinary organization of 20+ employees and contractors and grew the business to more than $1.2 million in revenue within its first two years. This gives me a business perspective that complements my technical work—I understand that a successful formulation ultimately needs to become a successful product. Whether you are developing your first skincare product, troubleshooting an existing formula, preparing for manufacturing, or evaluating a larger product-development strategy, I can help bridge the gap between concept, science, manufacturing, and commercialization.
