Shannagh R.

Hello! My name is Shannagh Rowland and I'm an instructional designer from Ireland. I have over 5 years experience designing eLearning content. At a glance, here are some aspects of eLearning projects that I can assist with: - Project scope, planning and management - Storyboarding and brainstorming - Course prototyping, development and testing - Animation creation (for both adults and kids) - Quiz, activity and knowledge check development - Exporting and optimizing assets for use (digital asset management) Here are some of the tools in which I expertise: - Articulate 360 (Replay, Rise, Storyline) - Powtoon - Vyond - Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint) - Adobe Creative Suite - Google Suite (Docs, Slides) Here is a little more about my experience: I recently spent nearly 3 years as the sole Instructional Designer at Gill Education, one of Ireland's leading publishers in both education and trade titles. Prior to my time at Gill, I worked with the technology company Lionbridge (which is now TELUS International) where I firmly grounded my professional interest in eLearning. Early in my role at Lionbridge, I began developing eLearning materials on an ad hoc basis to assist the education team during busy periods. Here, I mastered the suite of resources available in Articulate 360 and explored the outer limits of Microsoft PowerPoint. In terms of content, my focus was corporate training across departments. At Gill Education, I expanded on this foundational skillset, while adding Adobe applications, animation software, coding languages and a diploma in Advanced Digital Learning Design to my repertoire. Here, I developed numerous eLearning materials (including but not limited to animations, eBooks, interactive activities and presentations) for both Primary and Secondary level (i.e. content for students ranging from 4 - 18 years old).
