Circle.so & Skool Community Manager | Circle & Skool Setup & Growth

My latest project was Curate Catholic, a members only Circle.so network for Catholic realtors. Four weeks, three phases. I mapped out five space groups, set up a Jotform intake with manual review so only verified professionals get in, automated a ten touchpoint welcome roadmap across the first 30 days, and handed the team SOPs so they can run it on their own. Just before that I took over ASAP Community, a support community for parents of teens. A faulty automation was handing every new joiner lifetime access, so nobody had a reason to upgrade. The fix was a 4 tag system (Trial, Paid Monthly, Paid Annual, Staff), about 35 sidebar spaces trimmed to a clear layout, and a 9 message welcome stretched into a 15 message, 36 day onboarding path. Senior Style Guide came to me as a Facebook group of about 7,000 members, a Squarespace video library and a Discord. It now lives in one Circle community with three offers: free, paid monthly, and an annual conference with 6 years of archives. On Skool, I run AI Income Stack day to day, from the categories, welcome message and Start Here course to the classroom and the posting routine. Opening a community takes an afternoon. Keeping it alive is the real job. A new member arrives, finds quiet rooms and no clear first step, and is gone within the week. I design the first 30 days so every member knows where to go, what to do and why to come back. I am a Top Rated Circle.so and Skool community manager with 100% Job Success and Circle Community Management Academy certification. 30+ communities built, rebuilt or managed, 10 of them through Upwork. WHAT YOU GET • A front door that makes sense: spaces, groups, sidebar and navigation laid out so a new member knows where to click first • A first week that works: welcome posts, welcome DMs and workflows that turn a quiet join into a first post • Access that matches your offer: tags, access groups, paywalls and a clear path from free to paid • Content that gets used: courses, classroom lessons, events, live rooms and replays organized and published for you • A community that feels lived in: daily posting, welcoming, replies, challenges, weekly calls and a leaderboard members care about • A safe, tidy space: guidelines, moderation and member support handled • A smooth move: migration from Facebook, Discord or Slack without losing your members along the way • Growth you can see: invites, lead magnets and outreach, plus a simple monthly report on members, activity and retention HOW I GROW A COMMUNITY 1. Audit what is working and where members drop off 2. Fix the structure and the path every new member follows 3. Set up onboarding so members introduce themselves and take a first action 4. Run a weekly rhythm of posts, events and challenges 5. Bring quiet members back before they leave 6. Send a simple monthly report on members, activity and retention COMMON QUESTIONS Do you work with Circle.so only or Skool too? Both. I set up and manage Circle.so and Skool communities, and I can help you decide which fits your offer. Can you fix a community that is already live? Yes. I start with an audit of access, spaces, onboarding and automations, then fix the biggest problems first. Do you set up paid memberships and free to paid upgrades? Yes. Tags, access groups, paywalls and upgrade paths on Circle.so, and free to paid conversion planning on Skool. Can you migrate my members from Facebook, Discord or Slack? Yes. I plan the move, set up the new structure and onboard members so they know where to go. Do you run the community day to day? Yes. Daily posting, welcoming, replies, moderation and engagement, with regular updates to you. How should I start? Send your community link and tell me where you are stuck. I will tell you what I would fix first.
