My motivation in programming is twofold: personal enjoyment and the pursuit of knowledge. Areas of personal interest and respective skill sets include: Python for: Ad-hoc scripting, task automation, data processing, web scraping, command-line utilities, fixing / optimizing / refactoring existing code Django + Django REST Framework for: Database design, REST API architecture, app deployment and maintenance on Heroku, third-party API integration, query and response time optimization I will deliver clean, modular, readable, and robust code in exchange for leniency in delivery time. Projects with tight deadlines are less preferred relative to those which prioritize reliability, scalability, and the implementation of best practices.
