Shruti P.

I design mobile apps, websites and web applications in Figma, from the first wireframe to developer-ready screens. I am a senior UI/UX designer at Matrix Marketers, where I have worked since 2012. My current work is fintech product design. WHAT I AM WORKING ON NOW I am designing a fintech mobile product: a wallet with transaction history, a KYC (identity verification) onboarding flow, and the admin dashboard that sits behind them. The screens follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines on iOS and Google's design guidelines on Android, and accessibility is written into the brief. Alongside the screens I am building the design system that holds them together - a reusable component library in Figma - and preparing the files for a clean developer handoff. RECENT WEBSITE WORK Earlier this year I redesigned a company website, reworking its structure, layout and visual design across the site. HOW I WORK - UX research: I start by understanding who the users are and what they need to get done. - Information architecture and wireframes: I settle structure and user flows before visual design, so layout decisions are made early and cheaply. - Prototypes: I build clickable Figma prototypes so ideas can be reviewed and tested before anything is built. - Usability testing: I test prototypes and fix what does not work. - Visual design and style guides: consistent type, colour and components on every screen. - Responsive design: layouts that hold up on phones, tablets and desktop. - Handoff: organised Figma files, reusable components and clear specs that developers can build from. PROJECTS FROM MY PORTFOLIO - Mobile apps: a social network app, and a fitness app that delivers personalised weekly workout programmes for the gym, home or travel, where I also designed reusable components and interactive prototypes for handoff. - Web applications: an ad-account analysis tool that pinpoints wasted spend, and scheduling and project-management software built for construction companies. - Websites: a coffee subscription platform, a pet care resource site, and a real estate site built around real photographs of each property. WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU - Mobile app design for iOS and Android - Website design and redesign, including landing pages - Product and platform design for web applications - Fintech interfaces: wallets, transaction views, onboarding and admin dashboards - Wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma - UX research and usability testing - Style guides and component libraries I work within the Matrix Marketers team. If your project also needs development, the agency can staff it alongside the design, so you are not coordinating separate freelancers. If you have a product to design or a site that needs rethinking, send me a message with what you are building and where it is stuck.
