Franceen Vince S.

- Currently working in an IT company with a designation of Software Engineer, I am quite adept in web development and related areas. Despite being someone who has little knowledge when I first accepted this job, in 3 months' time, I was able to have a very satisfactory performance based on my boss' & senior's evaluation. This granted me two salary increases in just a span of 3 months. This just proved that I am a dedicated and fast learner individual and can follow instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. - I never thought that my passion in writing would be able to give me projects. It is my love for writing articles that made me land in the world of HARO. Being able to answer queries from journalists for other people both challenges and boosts my research and writing skills. When I first tried doing HARO, in just the span of a week (training included) I was immediately able to generate backlinks. - I participated in Investigatory Project- Applied Science individual category. For less than 2 years, I created equipment called a Multi-purpose solar-powered streetlight with different features. This gave me the honor to receive a 4th place award in our whole province. My critical and analytical thinking skills were further honed and gain another level of troubleshooting skills in this experience. I also sharpened my communication skill in this experience since presenting a crowd of professionals and panelists is no easy feat. - The unquenching thirst for knowledge and my continuous pursuit of new inventions drove me to continue my passion for research and writing. My team which was led by yours truly was able to achieve an award when we presented our thesis to the panelists. Excellence in research was awarded to us where only those groups who have a rating of 95-100% can qualify. - Participating in the festival of talents, a group created and led by me competed in a Business Planning competition in our whole division where we were able to attain the highest award. - I was a Science Writer in my former school's official publication. I also compete in our whole province for Science Writing Contest.
