My journey in customer service started as a Reservation Specialist at Expedia Sales. With the onset of the pandemic, I ventured into remote work, transitioning to a role as a vacation rental VA. I served as a Guest Services Associate for a hospitality group overseeing three hotels in Lake Tahoe, each listing approximately 20 rooms on Airbnb, Expedia, and Booking.com. More recently, I've been involved in managing 10-15 luxury rentals, primarily located in Gulf Shores, with additional properties in Destin and Miami Beach. As a Guest Services Associate, my tasks are the following but not limited to: - facilitating end-to-end property onboarding with new clients - monitoring daily check-in and check-out - managing reservations via multiple channels (call, email, and chat) - processing payments, disputes, refunds - responding to inquiries and requests and addressing complaints - listing management - review management - maintenance and cleaning management Additionally, I gained valuable experience overseeing mid and long-term rentals while working as an assistant property manager for a real estate investor in Arkansas. My responsibilities included managing approximately 40 houses for long-term rentals and overseeing 2 cottages for short-term stays. As a Property Manager Assistant, my tasks are the following but not limited to: - listing management - lead generation from Zillow, avail.co, CHBO, Airbnb, and Facebook Marketplace - respond to inquiries across all platforms - lead screening and background checking - social media management - appointment setting for a house tour - email management
