Deanna P.

I’m a native Bulgarian writer and translator with 15+ years of experience working with text. I translate from English to Bulgarian and back, focusing on meaning, tone, and flow, so the final text sounds natural, not translated. What can I help you with? 👉 Translation (EN ↔ BG) - Marketing, website, and editorial content - Natural, fluent translations adapted to real readers 👉 Writing, Proofreading & Editing - Books, articles, and web content - Fixing grammar, flow, and tone without overediting ⭐ I’ve proofread several published books, including: * Dreams and Nightmares by Chef Ivan Manchev * Golden Pitons by David Shambre * Peaks and People by Lyudmil Yankov Background I started as a writer and editor for Bulgarian magazines, which shaped how I work with text - clean, structured, and readable. Later, I spent 5 years in a Canadian advertising agency, managing clients from the US, UK, and Canada. This gave me hands-on experience with marketing content, tone of voice, and what actually works for different audiences. Alongside that, I continue to write and edit content - from articles to website copy - when projects require more than just translation. I’m also the author of a published humorous nonfiction book, which reflects my ability to develop voice, structure long-form content, and write with personality. 😊 What’s it like to work with me? ✅ Clear communication ✅ Reliable deadlines ✅ Attention to detail without overcomplicating things ✅ Text that reads naturally and feels right If you need content that’s clear, natural, and easy to trust, I’m happy to work with you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Client reviews "Very good, reliable and hard-working freelancer that is a great asset to any team!!!
