How does a qualified scientist end up as a freelance writer and editor? The twist in my career is explained by this simple fact: I fell in love with words. Words sweep people away on journeys to discover new worlds. They forge ideas, foster relationships and found empires. In the right hands, words are infinitely powerful. As a writer, editor, science communicator and children's author, I am skilled at employing words to suit my purposes. If you have an audience that needs to hear something, I can help you bring your message to life in the following ways: • As an experienced instructional designer, I build bespoke, hands-on e-learning solutions for coaches and small businesses. • Content should be easy to digest, and this happens when developmental and line editing are done correctly. I can edit just about any topic from informal blogs to academic papers, including books. • As a science communicator, I have experience in content creation for websites, blogs, fact sheets, brochures, posters, and infographics for a wide array of topics. I've worked for government agencies, academic institutions, and other organizations worldwide. • I love creating content for children! I have years of experience writing educational articles for children's magazines, and I write and publish fiction for children. I am looking forward to new challenges and will gladly walk with you as we develop your writing project and shape it into a sharp, professional product.
