Emily F.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! A little about me... I am a full-time, professional formatter/typesetter with an eye for editorial design for both print and ebook and have years of experience in various genres and book categories. I work with independent authors and small publishing houses to help get their manuscripts across the finish line. I can create press-ready files that can be uploaded to any publishing/printing house of your choosing. I also have the capability to create custom cover templates and am familiar with the requirements for most major print-on-demand publishers such as Amazon's KDP, Lulu Press, and IngramSpark. I have a teaching license, which means I have a precise attention to detail that allows me to get my projects done quickly and, most importantly, correctly! I have the ability to copyedit and proofread documents and manuscripts in either pre or post format. For more detailed portfolio examples, check out my portfolio at Albatross Book Co (albatrossbookco.com). I have the ability to edit (grammar and developmental), proofread, write copy and prepare self-published authors for KDP formatting both in print and e-book. I have also worked with publishing houses on numerous books in multiple genres, including children's, YA, classics and more series over the years. A little about what you can expect from me... - Quick response times - Unparalleled attention to detail - Sensitivity to your voice as the client and/or author. - Professional, press-ready documents and manuscripts - Just a heads up, I try and take weekends off for family, and typically stick to a 9-6 business hour schedule. Let's get to work! Thank you for considering my services and don't hesitate to reach out!
