Structural Engineer | Civil Engineer | Estimator with 8-year expertise in the field interested in participating in projects involving structural design, detailing and drawing, and estimating. I have a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering awarded by The University of Manchester, which has enhanced my knowledge abilities in design software such as Etabs, Midas, and SAP200. I use CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla. I use Microsoft Excel, Matlab and programming (when required) for calculations which also enhance work for future projects. I have designed and detailed wooden structures, reinforced and steel containers and multi-storied houses. All projects were handed with shop and erection drawings. I am up to date with all the latest codes of practice for designing different structures like ACI 318-19, ASCE-7-16, AISC, AISI and Eurocodes. In the field of estimating, I have 4-year expertise between public and private companies in my hometown Cuenca, Ecuador and one in Florida, United States, so I can easily understand construction plans.
