My mission every single day is to create and connect. Period. No platform allows me to carry out that mission more than YouTube, which has empowered thousands of independent creators worldwide. What I offer to my clients above all are strategy and storytelling — both are the key to growing a YouTube channel. Strategy-wise, we're going to create a channel that borrows from the popular channels from the client's niche, but also differentiate it with a unique value-add. Keyword research, search engine optimization, competitor analysis, and pouring through the client's video data are what provides the backbone of the strategy, which is personalized to each client. Storytelling is even more important to YouTube success. Above all, the video MUST retain the audience's attention for as long as possible or the algorithm will not pick it up organically. Doing this begins with a strong video idea that's perfectly captured with an eye-catching thumbnail and title to earn the initial click. From here, the video needs a strong opening hook to pull in the viewer. The rest of the video should be tightly edited to hold the audience's attention. What separates me from the slew of marketers out there is my unique skillset. Some marketers are creative, other marketers are analytical, well, I'm both. I have degrees in journalism and an MBA, two polar-opposite fields, that have armed me with skills in both storytelling and strategy, which are essential to growing any YouTube channel.
