Greg S.

I’m a Fortinet-focused Network Security Engineer available for ongoing contracts supporting secure, stable, and well-documented network environments. I work best as a long-term technical partner for organizations that need reliable ownership of firewall security, VPN connectivity, network performance, and infrastructure improvement. I support ongoing network operations as well as project delivery: monitoring and incident response, firewall-policy maintenance, VPN support, network changes, lifecycle planning, documentation, security hardening, and continuous improvement. I’m comfortable becoming an extension of an internal IT, security, MSP, or engineering team. My goal is to reduce recurring issues, improve visibility, and make the network easier to operate over time. * Fractional Fortinet network security engineer * FortiGate administration, firewall-policy management, and hardening * Fortinet SD-WAN design, optimization, multi-site connectivity, and failover support * FortiNAC deployment, device visibility, network-access control, and segmentation * Secure remote access and site-to-site VPN support * Network monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis * Network documentation, diagrams, standards, and change planning * Ongoing vulnerability remediation and security improvement * Internal IT-team and MSP escalation support
