Alison B.
Specialist Science and Nature Writer, Proof Reader and Copy Editor.
I am an experienced proofreader and copyeditor of written works in all guises. From academic papers and theses to works of fiction and non-fiction, I have helped prepare and polish documents to make them more appealing and complete. I have a PhD in Science and a BA in English, but my interests are diverse. I completed a proofreading and copy-editing course through the South African Writers College and am a member of SAFREA (South African Freelancers Association). I joined the Upwork community of freelancers in 2020 and have enjoyed the challenge of proofreading, copyediting and writing documents for a range of clients since then. I will help you to make your document concise, clear and easily understood; I will ensure that correct punctuation, grammar and spelling in English will enable you to submit a document that creates a magnificent impression. Why settle for anything else?
