Data Science & Analytics
Building confidence and consensus in stakeholder decision-making by helping organizations democratize data that is pressure-tested, governed, grounded in truth, and conducive to self-serve analytics and insights. Tactile learner driven by all facets of the analytics journey, from sourcing data through uncovering insights that translate to material business value. For the last 10+ years, I’ve primarily worked in a data analytics capacity, focusing on descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis. My primary focus revolved around helping companies identify, deliver, and optimize target audiences in both analyst and client-facing, consultative roles. I gained extensive experience utilizing segmentation/clustering solutions, classification techniques, and spatial analytics to help clients personify target audiences, size and prioritize markets, deliver relevant messaging, and measure the impact of advertising campaigns. As a result of transitioning to a much leaner organization, my analytics journey has shifted towards the emerging field of Analytics Engineering over the last 3 years, bridging the gap between data engineering and data analysis. ETL, particularly the data transformation layer, has become a critical part of my responsibilities during this time. Leveraging dbt Cloud, a SQL-first data transformation workflow, in conjunction with Snowflake and GitHub, has been instrumental for rounding out my knowledge of the data analytics lifecycle.
