I have 20 years’ experience in digital audio production, recording, editing, and mixing using various DAWs and music software. I use Cubase as my preferred software within my studio, along with programs such as Audacity and Reason, each of which with their own individual advantages. I am an experience music engraver creating professional sheet music and scores for publishing. I use software including Finale, and Sibelius. I have a thorough understanding of music theory ensuring that the scores I produce are of the highest standard. My experience includes recordings of church groups, school choirs, and bands, mixing recordings and producing mixes used for promotional purposes. I have also been involved in the creation of sound effects and composing of music for use within a planetarium, which was done alongside a fellow university student and friend. I am meticulous when it comes to all aspects of recording, editing, mixing, and mastering to ensure projects are of the highest possible quality. I have spent a lot of time over the past few years, since the Covid-19 lockdowns, working on arranging music, mixing, and producing songs for a virtual choir. I would be delighted to be able to offer you my skills in bringing your projects to life whether that is a rock band, jazz ensemble, choir, EDM producer etc. I can edit mix your pre-recorded tracks (including giving advice on recording techniques) or I can do the recordings at your location to take away for editing and mixing. I have also done a lot of work on MIDI realisation, with clients providing me with MIDI exports of their music (often created using engraving software - or I can do this for you) and editing it, using high quality virtual instruments to create a realistic audio rendition of the music. I will work with you to ensure that you are happy with the outcome so will work as closely with you as you like. I find that it is always good to work with clients so that they can hear how tracks are coming along as their feedback is invaluable.
