Sabahat N.

GIS developer, 5+ years building interactive web maps, GIS dashboards and spatial databases. Leaflet, Mapbox, QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, Google Earth Engine, Python. From raw shapefile to a live map your users can click — I build the whole stack. 6 contracts on Upwork, 5.0 stars on every one that was rated, and one client who came back and hired me five more times. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU CAN HIRE ME FOR 🗺️ INTERACTIVE WEB MAPS Leaflet.js, Mapbox GL JS, OpenStreetMap, Google Maps API. Store locators, asset maps, property/real-estate maps, delivery & route views, clustering, heatmaps, custom markers, search and filter, mobile-responsive. 📊 GIS DASHBOARDS & SPATIAL ANALYTICS Maps plus KPIs in one screen. Choropleth maps, live progress tracking, charts (Chart.js / Highcharts), role-based logins, exports to Excel/CSV. 🛢️ SPATIAL DATABASES & GEODATA CLEANUP PostGIS and PostgreSQL, SQL Server Spatial, spatial indexing and query tuning, GeoServer/WMS/WFS. Shapefile ⇄ GeoJSON ⇄ KML ⇄ GeoPackage conversion, reprojection, topology fixes, gap/overlap detection, geocoding, boundary merging. 📍 GPS TRACKING, GEOFENCING & FIELD OPERATIONS Live worker/vehicle location, assigned-area verification, route playback, speed and time anomaly checks, offline-first Android data collection with sync. 🛰️ SATELLITE IMAGERY & LAND COVER ANALYSIS Google Earth Engine, Sentinel-2, NDVI/NDBI/NDWI, supervised classification (Random Forest), change detection, cloud masking, GeoTIFF export. 🐍 GEOSPATIAL PYTHON & AUTOMATION GeoPandas, Rasterio, Shapely, FastAPI. Batch processing, scheduled ETL, scraping location data, turning a messy spreadsheet of addresses into a map. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WORK I'VE DELIVERED - Ghana logistics client (Upwork, 2.5 years, 6 contracts) — built the web version of their Android/iOS app: Leaflet + OSRM routing, marker clustering, order placement, plus an admin portal with area assignment, live GPS tracking and response analytics. "We never had any issues where the code didn't work." - Pakistan Bureau of Statistics — national census field monitoring dashboard. 1,000+ field workers on GPS tablets, geofence verification, role-based access for 50+ supervisors, MS SQL Server Spatial + Node.js + Leaflet. - Landuse AI — no-code satellite land classification tool. Draw a polygon, get a 6-class land cover map with area statistics. Sentinel-2 + Random Forest, FastAPI backend, React + Leaflet front end. - Android offline field data collection app — GPS capture, validation rules, background sync, data recovery after device loss. Used for large-scale surveys in low-connectivity areas. - Enumeration-area geodatabase — standardising and QA-ing administrative boundary data across a full province→district→tehsil hierarchy in PostGIS/QGIS, including automated gap and overlap detection. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW I WORK I come from 6 years inside a national statistics organisation, so I'm used to real users, messy real data, and systems that have to keep working after launch. I'll tell you if your idea has a cheaper solution than the one you asked for. - You get a clear scope and milestones before I start - Updates every 2–3 days, no silent weeks - Documented, handover-ready code — you're not locked to me - Overlap with US business hours (9 AM – 2 PM EST) for live calls ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ NOT THE RIGHT FIT IF you need ArcGIS Pro cartography/print map production, drone photogrammetry, or LiDAR point-cloud processing. I'll say so rather than waste your time. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Send me what you have — a spreadsheet, a shapefile, a screenshot, or just a description — and I'll tell you within a few hours whether it's a 2-day job or a 2-month one, and roughly what it costs. Free, no obligation.
