Current Solidworks 2025 license with 25+ years of experience as a mechanical designer of Machined and sheet metal parts and assemblies focused on simplicity, ease of manufacturing and ease of assembly with an emphasis on using off-the-shelf catalog components to minimize production time and costs. Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to find novel and innovative solutions to meet product requirements. Involved in all levels of product development from inception through production. Establish project needs and goals, develop prototypes and testing of new designs. Work closely with electrical engineering team and software developers to define product specifications. Work with vendor's to establish production pipelines. Past projects include: - Multiple U.S. and international patents for a light recycling stereoscopic 3D cinema system - Optical and mechanical design of several stereoscopic 3D cinema systems including systems control integration with mounting and actuator - Stereoscopic display systems for medical/surgical visualization - Custom stereoscopic video projection systems for corporate clients, trade shows, theme parks and universities - Design, manufacture and use of dual-camera stereoscopic 3D camera rigs - Corporate 3D video production for clients including Boeing, Mercedes Benz, Continental Teves and others - Design, manufacture and installation of Preshow and Main Show at the Expo โ98, Pavilion of the Future (Worldโs fair, Lisbon Portugal) - Design, manufacture and installation/training of laser display systems for multiple science centers, planetariums, large outdoor shows and theme parks including Universal Studios Florida, Universal Studios Hollywood, Sanrio Puroland (Tokyo Japan), and others
