Dallas C.

In one form or another, I’ve been writing for the past 15 years. Creatively, I’ve done everything from short stories to full-length video game scripts. I’ve drafted 36 grants for healthcare and community centers and secured over $4 million in grant funding. My educational background is in science, and I’ve authored academic papers, scientific grants, and public-at-large science and history articles. Whatever I’m writing, my only goal is to make sure it reaches the highest quality possible, and everything I do is 100% grammatically correct and error-free. I’ve worked in enough fields to appreciate that every client is different and every job is unique. I put a lot of emphasis on making sure I understand exactly what you are looking for before beginning work, and I am active in seeking feedback and maintaining contact throughout the entire lifespan of the project. If you’re looking for a writer, I can help you with: • Creative writing (fiction, scriptwriting, non-linear dialogue, story planning) • Grant writing • Academic journal publications • Technical writing • News articles • Blog posts • Copywriting • Game design documents • Editing (creative and technical) For editing work in particular, as a writer, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to submit your work for review. I also understand how frustrating it can be to have an editor push for changes that are way beyond the practical scope of a late-stage project. I always communicate with clients beforehand to get an honest idea of the scope of changes that are feasible, and I work hard to deliver all revisions sensitively and with clear reasoning attached.
