Brooke C.

I have been an avid writer for many years. I began as a Creative Writing student way back in middle school for an Arts Magnet program in Jacksonville, FL. I have won numerous awards for creative writing and was published as a young teen. At Jacksonville University, I earned two Bachelor degrees: English and Theatre. Since college, I have worked as a substitute teacher, tutor, teacher in an Autism Spectrum unit, and as a high school teacher in the Blind High School at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind where I taught 3 different subjects daily. I also started FSDB's first ever Creative Writing magazine featuring student and teacher work, edited and published by me. For years, I have edited and revised works through my tutoring, my teaching, and even my friends and family. I am an avid user of social media and co-host a podcast.
