Hello! My name is Conrad Lucas. I am a spatial analyst and writer with expertise in GIS, AI content generation, and science writing. Over the last five years, I have been freelancing year-round as an outdoor writer while collecting data for conservation as a field biologist. More recently, my career led me in the direction of spatial analysis, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree exploring the applications of AI in remote sensing technology, and how these methods can benefit natural resource management and environmental engineering. As a spatial analyst, I am well-versed in the use of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and QGIS to solve all kinds of spatial problems. I have coded Python modules to complete complex tasks in ArcGIS, used remotely sensed imagery to classify landforms and plant species, delineated watersheds, analyzed geophysical stresses on urban environments, and mapped intricate topographies in 3D using LIDAR elevation data. While I work on my MS thesis, which involves using GeoAI to assist raster classification of plant species, I am looking to develop as a spatial analyst and explore emerging applications of AI. Through my work as a content writer, I have learned how to produce high-performing content both manually and with AI assistance, as well as generate photo and video assets with models like FLUX, Stable Diffusion, MidJourney, Sora, and Wan.
