Unity XR Developer | Meta Quest & Vision Pro | On-Device CV
I built and published Spatial Piano on the Meta Quest Store. It is a mixed-reality app with over 150,000 installs. The app aligns a virtual keyboard with your real room using hand tracking. I handled everything from development to publishing, including creating the prototype and submitting it to the store. I have spent four years building XR and mobile apps in Unity. I focus on Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, and mobile AR. Most of my work falls into three categories: Enterprise and training XR: This includes VR training simulations, MR collaboration tools, and product showrooms. These apps need to function on real hardware in front of actual staff, rather than just being demos that fall apart outside the office. Spatial computing and mixed reality: My work involves hand tracking, spatial anchoring, and marker-driven MR on visionOS. I developed Meta-Mart, a virtual shopping mall that runs on a single Unity codebase across Android, iOS, and Quest. Computer vision in XR: I created Track Marker, an OpenCV image-recognition pipeline that works entirely on the standalone Quest without needing cloud support. Additionally, I developed a Python/Open3D pipeline that automatically identifies steel structural members in large point-cloud scans, eliminating the need for manual review. I also work on real-time multiplayer projects using Photon or Unity Netcode, connected with Firebase, PlayFab, or custom API backends. I develop mobile game systems, including in-game economies, level design tools, and live service SDK integrations. One common mistake many XR projects make is failing to address performance. A build may run well in the editor but then drop frames on the headset, making users feel sick. I excel at maintaining a steady 72 to 90 Hz on standalone hardware during long sessions without thermal throttling. This often makes the difference between a project that launches successfully and one that fails to gain traction. I have a 100% job success rate, am top-rated, and hold a 5.0 rating across all contracts. If you tell me what you're trying to build, I can give you an honest assessment of whether XR is the right choice and what it would entail, even if that means saying "don't build this."
