I am a Software engineer with Data Science experience. I have strong skills in web development with Django, Flask, and ReactJS through personal projects and freelancing also, I was able to acquire a solid professional experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Throughout my studies, I was able to acquire many skills in software engineering by working on projects in software programming, web development, and database management, among others. During my second year of engineering studies, I developed an environmental sound classifier using signal-processing techniques, Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC), and Deep Learning. This project introduced me and made me extremely interested in Artificial Intelligence, which led me to take optional courses in Data Science during my last year of engineering studies. Those courses helped me to deepen my knowledge of A.I by further learning about Machine Learning, Data Mining and Big Data. In addition, I developed many A.I-related skills throughout my professional experience. During my first summer internship at Incept Solutions, I learned how to create an object-detection model to classify industrial objects without human interaction automatically. Furthermore, I had my graduation project at VPLP Design, a French-based company that constructs racing sailboats, I developed feature importance extractors using decision trees with boosting and bagging to have a global and fast idea about the data. Then, I tested multiple Deep Learning models such as Multilayers Perceptron, Recurrent Neural Networks, Convolutions, and Dilated Convolution to forecast sailboat speed, which helped us find the boat’s best parameters to optimize the current speed. It was the most enriching technical experience for me, and it made me believe that working in the Data Science industry is the best choice.
