Senior Project Manager | COO | Strong Marketing and Business Expertise
I built a company’s organizational and project management system almost from scratch, coordinating dozens of specialists. My work combines COO responsibilities with senior project management and extensive marketing and business experience. My current long-term client originally hired me as a Marketing Manager. The role quickly expanded into managing operations, coordinating specialists, setting priorities, and building the structure behind project delivery. That ongoing Upwork engagement has reached $87K+. For the client’s perspective on our collaboration, scroll down to the “In Progress” section of my profile and open the most recent review. The system I built covered: • Organizational structure and accountability: defined responsibilities, deliverable owners, handoffs, and the decisions requiring the founder’s involvement. • Structured project intake: requests translated into actionable briefs, with objectives, required information, deliverables, and approval requirements recorded before production. • Project delivery in ClickUp: task templates, milestones, dependencies, owners, and acceptance criteria connecting the brief to production, review, approval, and launch. • Approvals and change management: current briefs and recorded decisions, with changes reviewed against the deliverables they affected. • Operating routines and reporting: priorities, progress, blocked work, delivery risks, and decisions requiring attention made visible across the team. The team had a shared view of what was ready, blocked, or awaiting approval. The founder’s involvement became concentrated on priorities, exceptions, and decisions. AI is part of my daily management workflow. I use it to turn meeting notes and scattered feedback into structured briefs, action lists, decision records, and handover summaries. I also use it to prepare status reports, organize research, develop planning drafts, and identify missing information, dependencies, and delivery risks. I review these outputs against the actual project context before they become team instructions or management reports. That lets me spend more time where a Project Manager/COO creates the most value: asking the right questions, resolving ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, making trade-offs visible, removing blockers, and keeping execution connected to the business outcome. I don’t see project management as just scheduling meetings or moving tasks between columns. Alongside operations, I bring extensive experience in marketing strategy, growth marketing, campaign planning, and execution. I rebuilt the company’s growth marketing system and coordinated the specialists delivering the work. That background gives me the commercial context to assess priorities, question a brief, and connect project delivery to customer needs and business goals. Before moving into international projects, I worked as a Business Manager in a local business incubator, where I was involved in roughly 30 different business projects. That experience taught me to look beyond individual tasks and understand the business model, priorities, constraints, stakeholders, and commercial outcome behind the work. Later, I moved into international markets (via Upwork) through marketing management. So my marketing background became one of my strongest advantages as a Project Manager: I understand not only how to organize delivery, but also why the work matters to the customer, the product, and the business. My role is to create enough clarity for a team to move confidently: who owns what, what depends on what, which decisions are still open, where the risks are, what needs attention now, and how the work connects to the business result. If you need a Senior Project Manager or COO who can step into a complex or messy environment, understand the business and marketing context quickly, bring structure without slowing the team down, and keep execution moving toward a real outcome, let’s talk.
