Ioana F.

I edit video for three types of clients: SaaS/app companies who need their product explained clearly, YouTube channels (including children's content) that need consistent editing and growth support, and healthcare/dental marketing teams in the US and Canada who need patient-facing videos that actually get watched. For 3.5 years I was the lead editor on a children's YouTube education channel, not just cutting footage, but handling thumbnails, SEO, scripting shoot ideas, and figuring out what keeps a 3-year-old (and their parent) from clicking away in the first 5 seconds. That channel taught me more about retention and pacing than any course could. On the corporate/app side, I build explainer and demo videos in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, clean motion graphics, no unnecessary flash, focused on making the product understandable in under 90 seconds. Tools: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Figma, Canva. I also work with an Envato subscription and a handful of paid AE plugins for animation, I'd rather spend my time on the parts that actually need a human eye than rebuild the same rig from scratch every project. I also use AI where it speeds things up without cutting corners, generating custom illustrations and character assets for kids' content, building quick website/app mockups in tools like Figma and Claude, and using AI-assisted plugins to cut down repetitive animation work. The judgment on what to keep, what to fix, and what to redo by hand is still mine, AI just gets me to a usable starting point faster. If your project needs someone who can own more than just the timeline - thumbnails, titles, structure, pacing - send me a message with what you're working on and I'll tell you honestly if I'm a fit.
