Writer and Editor

I am incredibly skilled when it comes to writing. It has been my passion for many years, as evidenced by my eighth-grade and sophomore-year accomplishments. In 2016 (my eighth-grade year), I placed second in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) American History essay contest. I am still proud of this essay to this day, though I also can see how much better I could write it today if I were given the same prompt. In 2018 (my sophomore year), I wrote a short essay about learning to loom from my mother, and it was put into the 2018 Legacy book. My chapter is chapter 13, found on page 111 of the book. To find this book on Amazon.com, it is called "Legacy 2018: Preserving History." In my spare time, I would edit stories that my friends wrote. I also wrote stories myself, and I still do. I am also currently working on writing my own book. I can and will use both my editing and writing skills to proofread, edit, ghostwrite, or write with credit for you! I have a high school diploma and am excited to prove just how hardworking, determined, and detail-oriented I am! These are just a few of my past accomplishments, but I know I can achieve more in the future, and I look forward to working with you!
