Geospatial AI for Land, Fire and Disaster Management Research into the use of Prithvi and related geospatial or domain-specific AI applications to support land-use analysis and planning, forest and vegetation monitoring, fire-risk assessment and protection planning, disaster preparedness and response, environmental change detection, natural-resource management, and evidence-based planning. The central question across these projects is not simply what AI can do, but where it adds value, where human expertise remains essential, what evidence is required, and how reliable human–AI workflows should be designed. Professional Background My professional career spans more than four decades across the Indian Forest Service, public policy, global business consulting, research, and authorship and the next 20 years in business consulting.
