Platforms serving many organisations from one codebase, with strict tenant data isolation enforced at the query layer, JWT authentication, and role/permission systems shared across web and mobile from a single source of truth. My rule: if correctness depends on every developer remembering to filter by tenant, it will eventually fail, so I push that guarantee into the framework itself. APIs and backend services. Versioned REST APIs in Laravel and NestJS, database schema design, query profiling over multi-million-row tables, Redis caching, and asynchronous processing on AWS SQS so heavy jobs never block a user request. I use Claude Code daily across the full development cycle. It makes me considerably faster at prototyping, refactoring and debugging, but I never merge code I have not read and understood.
