Pre-'Upwork', I edited and proofread two very different genres (one science-fiction and one autobiography) for my friends who eventually published! And, as a teacher, I have gained a lot of experience correcting ESL students' writings, so I believe editing/proofreading is right up my ally. I am very interested in becoming more skilled in the areas of writing, editing and proofreading (especially writing-- both technical and creative), and believe my time with Upwork (and working with you!) will accomplish that. I have a strong desire for learning new things and teaching others. I have a great passion for the Bible, Science/Physics/Astronomy, Science-Fiction, and Technology (with the occasional conspiracy theory thrown in, for good measure). I was in the U.S. Air Force for four years and fixed airplanes for eight years. So, I have a plethora of military and mechanical knowledge. In addition, I was a Private Pilot for about six years, so I have a decent amount of Aviation knowledge too (I also taught Aviation English to two ESL Air Traffic Controllers). I have independently built a sustainable, eco-house; so, I guess I could add that to my "skills" as well. I look forward to working with you, wherever I might fit in! P.S. My work is 100% human.
