My name is Nico, I have 5 years of experience in mobile development and 2 years of experience in Flutter. I have worked on a variety of apps and features, with the majority of my work as a full stack developer using Firebase for backend. A short summary of some of the features I have worked on are as follows: - In-App Purchases & subscriptions. - User authentication, user management, and profile pages. - Database architecture, management, and security. Triggers. - Geolocation and geofencing. - API development, including: CRUD operations, geo searching, account content management with periodic synchronisation, purchase & subscription validation and email routing. - Custom scripting and interpreter. - Local databases (such as SQLite). - Offline support. - Animations. All backend functionality was developed in Node.js with Cloud Functions, making use of usage cost estimations for scope as well as unit tests for regression testing and scalability testing. My frontend development has made use of the MVC pattern for simplistic UI's, but the MVVM pattern in more complex projects to maintain a separation of concerns between UI and functionality. Furthermore, I utilise BLoC and widget testing for state management, and make sure to keep up to date with Material Design guidelines such as widget reusability and interaction responsiveness. I have been professionally developing software for over 6 years. My work has always included a significant involvement in the project lifecycle and requirements analysis; giving me a proficiency in calculating deadlines, handling evolving requirements, and writing readable code. This, combined with my range of systems experience, is one of my most valuable skills for developing stable and quality applications.
