I am a mechatronics engineer with hands-on experience supporting aviation maintenance operations, AOG recovery, and return-to-service activities. I have worked closely with maintenance teams, engineering partners, and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate repairs, and support aircraft availability in real operational environments. My experience includes coordinating aircraft maintenance and repair activities, supporting time-critical AOG situations, reviewing technical documentation, sourcing parts, and following issues through installation until the aircraft is safely returned to service. I have been directly involved in return-to-service projects, including supporting the recovery of a Boeing 737-200 that had been grounded for approximately two years and preparing it for a ferry flight into another MRO for a fresh C-check. I have also supported aircraft modification and lifecycle projects, including acting as the technical coordinator for a Boeing 737-200 FMS STC upgrade and participating in aircraft acquisition evaluations. This includes documentation review, remaining lifecycle assessment, and operational viability analysis. I was involved in the successful acquisition of a LET 410 UVP-E20 currently undergoing return-to-service work, as well as in the evaluation of a Boeing 737-200 acquisition that was ultimately not pursued due to lifecycle and value considerations.
