In 2016, I began my journey of higher education at Missouri State University. Though seemingly delayed in the wake of the pandemic, I not only graduated with my Bachelor's in Digital Film and TV Production, but with a minor in Japanese language and culture after studting abroad in Tokyo, Japan in 2022. Returning to the states held the rude awakening that my industry was lacking opportunities due the restrictions, eapwcially in my hometown. After almost two years of working freelance jobs when possible and paying the bills at a job I greatly disliked, I made a huge decision. I chose to take a leap of faith and move to Florida to pursue my Master's in Film Production at Full Sail University. In October 2025, I will have graduated with this degree with an overwhelming abundance of experience in the media field. My love for camera operation and Cinematography boomed; my acting range became more recognized and sought after; and, most importantly, my confidence in my craft increased. I have dedicated long hours to utilizing Adobe, DaVinci, and AVID softwares for a multitude of projects in and out of class assignments and theses projects. I have collaborated with fellow creators in all aspects of film production, all while attending internships for content creation, editing, and voice acting. I was trusted with a team to accomplish major projects and received feedback from teachers and my peers regarding my leadership capabilities and strategic ways to improve. There is so much more to share about my journey, with too few characters to work with on this template. Therefore, I look forward to answering any questions my potential employers have. My final point is this: my dream has always been to support myself doing what I love. I always felt like doing this would lead to more productivity and make work not feel like work. However, even in your dream job, there are rough days. What truly drives the work is the dedication to the craft and the passion for the project's success. I dream to become a cinematographer for short films, music videos, and book adaptations. I dream to become an actress that lives and breathes the roles she is given and delivers a stellar performance to the story. I dream to bring imagination to life through 2D animation, special effects, and editing enhancements. I thank God, that those dreams are becoming reality.
