"Zakari is absolutely great to work with. He responds promptly and communicates well." Most video editors know how to cut clips. I know how to tell stories that keep people watching. Before transitioning into professional video editing, I spent the last 6 years working as a scriptwriter, helping create engaging content built around audience retention, pacing, and storytelling. That experience now gives me a major advantage as an editor because I understand not just how videos should look — but how they should feel. I specialize in creating clean, engaging, professional edits using: • Motion graphics • Animated subtitles/captions • Retention-focused pacing • Smooth transitions • Visual storytelling • AI voiceover synchronization • Short-form and YouTube content editing My editing style is modern, polished, and designed to hold attention without relying on excessive flashy effects or meme-heavy editing. I can help with: • YouTube Shorts • TikTok/Reels • Educational videos • Informational content • Faceless YouTube videos • Promo videos • Social media ads • Documentary-style storytelling Software I Use: • CapCut Pro • DaVinci Resolve Why clients work with me: • Strong storytelling background • Understanding of audience psychology • Fast learner and adaptable • Professional communication • Commercial-use-safe assets only • Focused on delivering videos that perform, not just look good If you're looking for an editor who understands both storytelling and editing dynamics, I’d love to work with you.
