Jessica S.

With a professional background spanning two decades in corporate America, two separate startup design agencies, and multiple freelance roles, I have diverse experience in strategy, writing, and proofreading. Some specific project highlights include: * generated, edited, and proofread copy for pitch decks and design presentations. * created technical instructions, merchandising guidebooks, and project summaries. * edited and proofread communications for my peers and supervisors. * crafted professional branding documents for hundreds of individual clients. * written and edited emails to negotiate with partners, vendors, and clients. * managed ad-hoc creative projects for director-level clients at Google. I simplify complex ideas and anticipate questions as I develop any writing project. I know enough about a lot of things to be dangerous, and because of my broad interests and love for learning, I am always eager to learn new subject matter and take on a new challenge. The common theme interwoven through my professional interests is my passion for organized, accurate, and clear communication. I have an MBA, a BA in Psychology, and a copyediting certificate. I hold the Certified Professional Résumé Writer (CPRW) designation from PARWCC, and I graduated in the top 11% of Proofread Anywhere's General Proofreading program. I'm currently engaged with the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy training program. I also have training in the healing arts, and have completed master-level coursework in Professional Life Coaching. I bring this entire skillset to every project I work on, with the goal of making my client's (and their clients') lives easier. I look forward to connecting to learn more about what you need!
