AI Mobile App Developer | Flutter | React Native | Native iOS/Android
I don't just build apps; I take full ownership of your mobile side, so you can stay focused on growing your business, serving your customers, and hitting your goals. I'm Mohammad Umer Sarfraz. I've been building mobile apps for 7+ years, working in native iOS with Swift/SwiftUI, native Android with Kotlin/Java, and cross-platform with Flutter and React Native. A receipt-scanning app that came to me after the previous developer left it unfinished. It was in rough shape. I got it stable, got it into production, and it's now serving over a thousand customers. A house planner that uses LiDAR and ARKit to scan a real room through your camera, turn it into a 3D model, and let you rearrange and furnish it in 3D. Popular with architects and people planning renovations. Built a styling app that reached 10,000 users in its first month. Growth like that tests the system, and most of my work went into making sure it held up and into reducing operational costs at large scale. Developed an AI note-taker system, both the mobile app and the backend, that joins your Zoom, Meet, or Teams calls on your behalf and gives you the transcript and a summary afterwards (and a lot more features). A real-time voice assistant that takes live calls and books appointments for professionals. Several BLE apps that hold a Bluetooth connection in the background for long stretches, with reconnection logic that survives the OS suspending or killing the app. I know handing your product to someone new takes trust, so I try to earn it early. I keep you in the loop at every stage and treat the project with the same care I'd give my own. Before I start writing code, I'll go through your spec and tell you which parts are unclear, which ones will cost more than you'd expect, and what actually belongs in v1 versus what can wait. A lot of founders tell me that conversation ends up being more useful than the estimate itself. After that, I break the work into milestones so you can see real progress rather than just waiting. And I always keep development time separate from Apple's review time, because I control one of those and I don't control the other. Whether you're a first-time founder still figuring out the scope or a growing business with a clear roadmap, I'll meet you where you are. One client described working with me as "reliable, honest, trustworthy, and immensely talented." That's the kind of relationship I'm after on every project. If you need both platforms, I'll usually suggest Flutter. One codebase, quicker to build, cheaper to maintain, and for most apps, your users won't be able to tell the difference. But when a project genuinely needs native, and some do, like heavy camera work, real-time audio, background Bluetooth and BLE device communication, anything sitting close to the operating system, I'll say so upfront rather than letting you find out after you've paid for the wrong approach. On the AI side, the thing that tends to matter most once you launch is what the product costs to run every month. On a recent project, ๐ ๐ ๐จ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฒ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฑ, not by swapping in a cheaper model and hoping quality held, but by rethinking how and when the app called the model at all. Two AI features can look identical to the user and cost wildly different amounts to operate, and that gap is a design decision rather than something you're stuck with. I also handle the parts that tend to get forgotten until late. Subscriptions and in-app purchases through RevenueCat or StoreKit, push notifications, analytics and attribution, background execution, and the store submission itself. Because I own the full journey from concept to launch, there are no handoff gaps, and nothing gets lost between one person and the next. Timelines matter to me too: "Delivered ahead of schedule with amazing communication." I enjoy working with founders who care about their idea, startups moving fast who need a reliable technical partner, and established businesses looking to modernize or scale what they already have. If that sounds like you, we'll probably get along well. No hard sell. Just send me a message or an invite, tell me what you're building, and we'll work out together whether it's a good fit. Looking forward to hearing from you. Mohammad Umer Sarfraz
