Hi there! It's been a while. I am returning to UpWork after a year-long hiatus due to the final hurdles of my graduate degree. I recently graduated from Harvard University with a Master's in Museum Studies. My undergraduate degrees are in Classical Studies and History from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I have also studied at New York University and received certificates from other educational institutions. Moving on from academics, I have extensive experience in customer service, marketing, and community outreach. I spent almost a decade in Speciality Coffee as the Director of Outreach and Marketing at a mid-size roastery in the Northeast. I was a private consultant for business strategy, cafe buildout, and generally all things coffee and community. I also served as the director and lead organizer of a coffee-centric nonprofit in Southern California for two years. These experiences, alongside my academics, culminate in excellent writing with the ability to appeal to various audiences. I am confident in my ability to suit the needs of the intended audience, whether writing for historians, coffee nerds, or the everyday magazine or blog reader. I truly enjoy working with clients and bringing them closer to their goals. While I have owned a business in the past, I find more satisfaction working on a variety of projects with different clients – it keeps things fresh and interesting! I am happy to work with SEO editing software and have intermediate experience working with SEO. I very much do not work with AI writing tools and will never do so. I believe in the written word and the impact of a sincere and authentic author. With all of that in mind, I am excited to discover new clients and interesting projects as I return to UpWork!
