Laura A.
eCommerce & Marketplace Ops Manager | Jewelry & DTC | Customer Agent
I spent a year inside GLS, one of Italy’s main parcel carriers, handling the deliveries that went wrong, which means that when a customer writes in about a parcel that never arrived, I already know what happened on the other side and what to ask for to fix it. That’s the part of eCommerce operations most people learn slowly, and it’s where I started. Most of my work since has been with US brands, running the operational side day to day: orders and fulfilment, shipping and courier follow-ups, refunds, returns and customer issues, listing setup and catalog accuracy across channels, SKU and variant structure, inventory alignment, and the weekly reporting a founder actually reads. On ❗𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆 I’ve spent close to a year running daily operations for a US premium DTC brand, from founder support to shipping escalations, claims, replacements, refunds and chargebacks, including BBB complaints, handling customers directly on Gorgias. I also cover the marketing side of the store: Klaviyo flows, discount codes, launch support and social comment moderation. On ❗𝗲𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲, where most of my hours sit, I work across catalog, listings and cross-border setup. ❗𝐄𝐭𝐬𝐲 is the other channel I know in depth, on the SEO side especially, from client work, from selling my own handmade jewelry and from running a digital-products shop for children, with eRank and EverBee for keyword and competitor research. I’m also comfortable on Walmart, TikTok Shop and Amazon (back end and policy side, FBM). Two things I bring that don’t usually come in the same person: Jewelry and handmade category knowledge, because I make and sell handmade silver-and-stone jewelry myself, I’ve trained hands-on in stone setting, and I work with a jewelry-tools manufacturer on their launch into the US market. I know the vocabulary around metals, settings and stones, which matters when you’re writing listings or answering a customer who knows the category better than you do. Marketplace launch research, the work that happens before anything goes live: competitor analysis, product selection, marketplace mapping and keyword research grounded in what buyers actually search for, so a new catalog doesn’t go live invisible. Tools I use daily: Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, Etsy, TikTok Shop, Cin7, Sellbrite, Gorgias, Klaviyo, HelpScout, Zendesk, SproutSocial, Notion, Google Workspace, Canva. If you’re growing and the operational side is starting to slip, tell me what’s breaking first and I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right person for it. Laura
