Admin Director, Mentor, and Spanish Teacher

Among my capabilities as a person and a professional instructor, I feel very confident and comfortable teaching Spanish, and Philosophy Subjects. After leaving the religious life and entering the secular world, I immediately immersed myself into the vocation of an educator. All my life, I have been a full time college professor handling a variety of subjects like philosophy, religion, history, languages (Spanish and English). Aside from the above tasks, having a passion for music and playing the piano, I also dedicated myself to tutoring students. I tutored English and Spanish languages face to face and online particularly to foreign students. In every school that I taught, I always organized and trained choral groups to supplement the social and cultural life of the institution and the students in general. During weekends and on my free hours, I busied myself with extra jobs as an Insurance underwriter and automotive parts account executive. I was also fortunate having being given the opportunity to lead, supervise and manage people and offices. In several institutions where I worked, I was given the task as an executed assistant to the president. As such, particularly in the absence of the president, I had the opportunity to pitch in and oversee the smooth operation of the company or the institution. At one time, having been appointed as the Administrative Director, I had the chance to gain varied insights into the actual operation of the HRO, the accounting office, the housekeeping, the motor pool, budget and audit, security and even outsourcing of different services. At present, with the unfortunate lingering of the worldwide pandemic (Covid 19), all kinds of gainful activities even in the field of education are mostly limited to the world of virtual reality and had to depend mainly on modern science and technology. This being the case, I had to re-invent my approach to my traditional methods in imparting knowledge and sharing my talent by making them relevant and accessible online. Hence, I prepared varied modules and platforms for the said purposes. Modesty aside, my past employers, co-workers, colleagues and even family and friends tease and call me “ Mr. Workaholic “ because of my great passion for doing my job and even going out of my way to help others to accomplish a task.
