Peter R.

I build and ship React Native (Expo) apps for iOS and Android, backed by Supabase and Next.js. I've launched consumer apps across social networking, wine recommendations, travel planning, music, and AI-powered styling, taking each from idea through App Store and Google Play release. What I'm best at: • Taking over existing apps. Many of my projects start with a codebase another developer or an AI tool built. I audit it, fix what's fragile (auth, data security, performance), and get it production-ready without a full rewrite. • Getting apps into the stores. EAS builds, TestFlight, App Store and Play Console submissions, review responses, and over-the-air updates. • Supabase done properly. Row-level security, roles, Edge Functions, and Postgres schemas built to scale, so your users' data stays protected. • AI features that feel native. Chat, recommendations, image and voice features using the OpenAI API, integrated cleanly into the mobile experience. • Mobile + web together. A Next.js dashboard or web app that shares the backend with your mobile app. Stack: React Native, Expo/EAS, TypeScript, Supabase, Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, PostgreSQL, Firebase, Stripe, RevenueCat, OpenAI API. Certifications: React Native, React, React Testing, Node.js (Express), JavaScript Unit Testing, MongoDB (Codecademy); Google Cloud Fundamentals (Coursera). How I work: I start by understanding your users and business goals, then agree on clear milestones before writing code. You get regular progress updates, test builds you can install on your own phone, and clean, documented code you fully own. Have an app to build, finish, or rescue? Send me a short overview and a link to the codebase or designs if you have them. I usually reply within a few hours and offer a free discovery call.
