Instructional Designer | eLearning, Storyline & Technical Enablement
I’m a senior instructional designer and technical enablement consultant helping teams turn SME knowledge, SOPs, PowerPoints, recordings, and complex workflows into scalable onboarding, eLearning, technical training, and performance-support systems. Sometimes the right solution is a Storyline or Rise course. Sometimes it’s a simulation, job aid, decision-support tool, knowledge resource, or blended learning system. And sometimes the smartest first step is figuring out what should actually be built before investing in more content or technology. I bring 10+ years of experience across technical, operational, software, and workforce learning environments, including Tesla, HD Supply, Swinerton, and consulting engagements through Jaxon Learning. I can help with: • Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360 development • eLearning, SCORM, and LMS-ready course production • Technical training and role-based onboarding • Software simulations and system-adoption learning • Scenario-based, decision-driven, and applied learning • SME knowledge capture and knowledge-transfer systems • SOP-based training, job aids, checklists, and performance support • Course, curriculum, and existing-program redesign • AI adoption and productivity enablement • Learning architecture and build-ready content systems A few examples of my work: • Led technical onboarding and enablement for engineering organizations at Tesla • Built a scalable multi-region foundations system with 16+ SMEs, supporting 80+ learners and 600+ completions with 90%+ usefulness/applicability • Architected a modular Microsoft Copilot learning series for an ~800-user licensed population • Designed operational training, SOPs, and decision support tied to fraud prevention and business performance • Delivered 150+ learning assets in one year while establishing repeatable development, QA, and review processes • Speaker at the 2025 Articulate Conference My best-fit clients usually fall into one of two situations: You already know what needs to be built and need an experienced partner who can execute it reliably. Or, training requests are increasing, onboarding isn’t scaling, resources are scattered, SMEs keep reteaching the basics, or it simply isn’t clear whether another course is actually the answer. For larger or ambiguous initiatives, I can begin with an Enablement Blueprint™—a paid diagnostic and solution-design engagement used to determine what should be built, what should stay live, what can become reusable, what needs validation, and how implementation should be sequenced. When the direction is clear, I can move into structured implementation using repeatable processes for SME collaboration, development, review, QA, and delivery. My rule is simple: diagnose before overbuilding, then use the lightest solution that improves performance. PRICING NOTE: The profile rate is a general reference for hourly work. Fixed-scope diagnostics, Blueprint engagements, and implementation projects are priced based on the final scope, complexity, and deliverables.
