Education | Standards Alignment | RFP and Bid Writing

I specialize in K–12 standards alignment, helping education companies ensure their instructional materials clearly and accurately align to state and national academic standards. With experience across curriculum development, standards correlation, and instructional review, I work with publishers, edtech companies, and curriculum teams to map content to frameworks such as Common Core, NGSS, and state-specific standards. My goal is to create alignment documentation that is clear, defensible, and useful for educators, reviewers, and adoption committees. In my previous role as a Curriculum Alignment Specialist, I aligned hundreds of instructional resources across math, science, ELA, and social studies to U.S. state standards. I developed detailed correlation matrices, crosswalks, and alignment reports used by teachers, curriculum directors, and state reviewers to evaluate instructional programs. I currently serve as a Senior K–12 Sales Consultant and RFP Thought Leader, where I collaborate closely with curriculum and product teams to ensure materials meet state requirements during state adoptions and district procurement processes. My work has contributed to over $5M in awarded education contracts, and I regularly support proposal teams by translating standards alignment into clear, compelling documentation for reviewers. Because of my background as a former teacher, curriculum developer, and education consultant, I approach standards alignment with both instructional expertise and a deep understanding of how curriculum is evaluated by districts and states.
