I work in DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, and I can hand over the project file and assets when the job's done. Most wedding edits run at one speed and just cut to the music. For me pacing is what actually makes the difference. Holding a shot during the vows, letting a laugh finish before moving on, building up to the speeches instead of rushing through them. Multicam documentary coverage. Same day edits. Color grading, audio mixing and music sync are part of the work, not extras.
