Somewhere between a microbiology lab and a design studio, I found the job I was built for - turning dense research into visuals that editors approve, examiners accept, and readers actually understand. MSc in Microbiology & Biotechnology. Real experience on the editorial side of a peer-reviewed journal. Working knowledge of USPTO patent-drawing standards. I've spent time inside the process that judges this work, not just around it. I'm not anti-AI - I use it. But AI can hand you a beautiful molecule with the wrong bond angles and no idea it's wrong. That gap is where I work: I know what's actually correct, and I fix what isn't before anyone else sees it. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱: 1. 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲: anatomical illustration, mechanism-of-action graphics, molecular and cell diagrams, protein structure visualization, genomics and CRISPR illustration. 4. 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 & 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: covers, textbook interiors, children's STEM books, e-learning visuals, infographics. 5. 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 & 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: marketing collateral, pitch decks, packaging, brand identity, website illustration. 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: Adobe creative suit including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. Delivered submission-ready, in whatever spec your journal, patent office, or platform demands. If it involves real science and needs to look exactly as credible as it is, that's my job.
