Marketer First, Writer Second | Strategy, Growth, Brand Voice
Let's get this right from the start. I'm a marketer first and a writer second. That's what makes me so successful. I don't say that with an overinflated sense of confidence. I love writing and being creative. I also love research, strategy, and problem solving. That's why my content and marketing plans don't just sound good; they also produce results for my clients. This Naked Mind has trusted me with founder Annie Grace's voice for over 10 years, across blog, podcast, and email. Her voice, my words. They blend seamlessly. That's not the whole job, though. I produce the full podcast content suite, show notes, clean transcripts, SEO assets, and schema markup, for two shows every week. I also run SEO and schema strategy for This Naked Mind's website, including AI-visibility work, and that same research-first thinking is what landed TNM articles in major publications, including Thrive Global, INKL, Today's Parent, NY Daily News, and Elephant Journal, and grew the show's audience. I also assisted in building the production SOPs the entire content team now runs on. Deltona Youth Soccer Club had a fledgling sponsorship program. I grew it: increasing the prospecting list to 3,000+ contacts, writing the sponsorship guide and deck, and landing partners including T-Mobile (a $1,000 sponsorship plus in-kind incentives). I have active sponsorship and grant applications in front of AdventHealth, Florida Blue, and Publix. I created new scholarship pathways and fundraisers for the club, and launched newsletters, social media campaigns, and referral programs. Then I took the strategy off the page and put the club in front of its community: an event with 3,000+ attendees, another with 750+ the following week, and a now-booked spot at the Deltona Latin Festival, which draws upwards of 6,000 people. Along the way, I ran the campaign strategy behind a World Cup campaign kit and a Summer Training Camp launch. I bring the same combination of research, strategy, and writing to independent clients across industries that don't overlap at all: fitness, real estate, nonprofit fundraising tech, consulting, and more. NSCA, Allen Thompson (real estate), The Wonder Women Official (fitness), Givelify, DonorBox, Betsy Jordyn Consulting, Six Figure Pet Business Academy, and All Class Resorts have all hired me for the same reason This Naked Mind and DYSC did. I figure out the strategy first, and the writing carries it out. What I bring: * Strategy before writing, every time. I ask who the audience is, what the hidden problems are, and what the solution you have waiting for them is before I write a word. * I don't try to make my voice fit your mold. I write in your voice for your clients from day one. Founders stop checking my drafts because I get it right. * I'm not looking for a niche. Every sector means growth for my clients and me - nonprofit sponsorship, national brand SEO, fitness copy, real estate copy. They all feed off of each other. What clients say: "Diana is my secret weapon. Her ability to nail my voice, and our brand voice, in a market of controversy and sensitivity is amazing. I hand all my content writing over to Diana without fear that I will be misrepresented." - Annie Grace, This Naked Mind "Diana has been instrumental in assisting our Congregation with her expertise in building a financial campaign. Her wisdom and guidance have been invaluable." - Pastor Owen Stricklin, First Church DeLand "She came up with a plan for content and delivered posts on the schedule that we agreed to. She was reliable, professional, and someone I would be happy to work with again." - Andrew Tischler, Out of Office Thinker "Her ability to step into the voice of our organization to help support our values and vision has been essential to our growth. I look forward to working with Diana for years to come." - Monique Maley, President, Articulate Persuasion What I deliver: Marketing strategy, sponsorship and grant strategy, campaign planning, and event marketing, plus the writing to carry it out - ghostwriting and brand voice, email sequences, website copy, blog and article writing, podcast show notes and production, newsletters, product descriptions, social media, and copy editing.
