Joyce K.
Project manager, key accounts manager, and market researcher
Curious about people, passionate about learning I'm a student of people. I'm endlessly curious about people's lives, the contexts of their beliefs, values, frustrations, joys, and pains. I've observed people as a qualitative and quantitative researcher, making sense of people and communities through the data they provide, focusing on people's needs, perceptions, and expectations. Mostly, though, I learn from people through the relationships I forge. Listening to people teaches me a lot not only about what people need, but also how to deliver it to them on terms that satisfy their expectations. With clients and stakeholders, I use my project management skill set as a platform for demonstrating my service as a trusted (and trustworthy) advisor, one who practices communications clarity, accountability, a strong work ethic, and a sense of humor. My proudest accomplishments come from moments when my clients tell me I've helped make their work and lives better by listening to them, understanding their needs on deep levels, and consistently delivering client service, project management, and written or presented work product that exceeds their expectations.
