Some editors cut footage. I try to find the story inside it. My background is in narrative short films, cinematic colour grading, and social media content — and what connects all of it is the same thing: understanding what a piece needs to feel like before touching the timeline. I recently completed a short film that the full cast and crew felt strongly should be submitted to festivals. On a separate project, the director and sound mixer were genuinely impressed by the sound design I built — something that's become as natural to my process as the edit itself. What I work on: — Short films and narrative content (story, pacing, emotion) — Social media content for creators (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) — Colour grading (SLOG3, BRAW, ARRI, DLOG — log footage is where I'm most at home) — Sound editing and design (dialogue cleanup, Fairlight, full audio builds) — Multicam syncing, including audio-based sync across mismatched camera sources — Founder stories, interviews, and branded content I work in DaVinci Resolve Studio and have experience as both an editor and creative director — which means I don't just execute a brief, I understand the strategy behind it.
