Jobin J.

Need a backend system that's fast, reliable, and built to scale? I help businesses build production-grade backend systems — APIs, payment integrations, real-time features, and cloud infrastructure. I've spent 8+ years as a backend Scala engineer at a gaming company in Vancouver, shipping features used by thousands of players daily. Before that, I built full-stack platforms, trading systems, and enterprise applications across multiple industries. What I bring to your project: 8+ years building real-time backend systems in Scala (Play Framework, Akka, WebSockets) at scale. Payment integration experience with Stripe, WorldPay, Nuvei, Aeropay, and Paysafe. Recently built soundset.studio end-to-end — a SaaS music learning platform with auth, scheduling, Stripe payments, and serverless APIs (Dart, Supabase, Node.js, Vercel). Production experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP and OpenShift. Languages & frameworks: Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, Kotlin, Dart Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Firebase, Supabase Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, OpenShift, Vercel, CI/CD 100% Job Success Score. Top Rated. Honest. I deliver clean, documented code on time — and I think through edge cases before they become bugs. Send me a message with your project details and I'll let you know how I can help.
