In 1997 I decided to found Commit to help companies and organizations communicate on a global scale. Back then, the company was offering localization services just for the Greek market. Today Commit has three offices (San Diego, Athens and Paphos), provides linguistic services in 60+ languages and has developed into an established and reliable player in the language services market. After almost 20 years as the General Manager of the company, overlooking business operations, and driving the company’s expansion, I am now the Chief Strategist, responsible for developing strategic planning, corporate structure and future opportunities. I hold a degree in Computer Science from the University of San Diego. I have worked as an IT professional for Antenna (Media Group) and Carat Hellas (Media Shop) and as freelance translator for the IT industry. I have also served as a Director (Board Member) of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA) and I am still involved in the Association as a volunteer.
