Hi, hello and welcome! I'm a story nerd with a love for the mechanics of narrative. Story structure, subplots, tropes, devices, techniques - I love to dig in to these as much as I enjoy getting into the heads of my main characters, understanding their complicated emotional landscapes, navigating their relationships and their actions as a story progresses. My most recent projects include Historical Highland Romance and working on several (successful!) grant applications for nonprofit organizations. My fiction experience runs the gamut of speculative genres, from the supernatural to the historical, from romance to action and adventure. The weirder the better, in my opinion, and I am not afraid of spice. My non-fiction experiences lies in copy and content writing, and again therein lies a deep variety: brand building blogs, technical manuals, authority-establishing white papers, video scripts, product descriptions and beyond. Good storytelling is as essential to running a business as it is to selling a book. And good mechanics are essential to good writing of any genre. I'm happy to call myself a tradesman, honing and practicing my craft for decades now.
